I would like to begin this week’s edition of MATTER THAT MATTERS by appreciating you all for the love you showed me on my birthday on 1st of April, thanks a lot. My prayer for you is that; you will never regret your age in Jesus name, Amen.
After last edition, most people pour-out their heart on life’s mistakes that have held them down, believe me, most efforts have some degree of error in it, you just must move on. To let a mistake stop you will be a great mistake, so do the needful;
1. Forgive Them: We cannot deny the fact that some people are suffering for another’s irresponsibility, but you need to forgive them. I noticed from the story of Jesus Christ (my Lord and Saviour) that when HE prayed that God should forgive HIS enemies while even on the cross, HE moved to the next level. Do you really want to move to your next levels? then Forgive!
2. Forgive Yourself: Don’t be an inmate in the prison of past mistakes. Forgive yourself, delete every images of what could have been or should have been. Your mistakes are part of what makes you. Don’t let the dent in your armor affect your performance on the battlefield. People will not remember you because you were flawless but because of your achievements. The time to move on is NOW. Forgive yourself now and take responsibility for the better new you.
3. Should We Forgive You? It can only be black or white, blessing or lesson. Don’t loose it all, if you can’t see the blessing don’t miss the lesson(s). The lesson(s) from mistakes are to make you better positioned for a retake. So don’t waste time celebrating your mistakes because we might not forgive you if you make the same mistake again.
