Don’t fight seasons of life; prepare for them.
We often waste our energy competing with others when we are not in the same season. It is akin to a nursery school pupil struggling to comprehend “Further Mathematics”. We need to recognize that each season has its own purpose and process; we just need to concrete on making the most of each season so that we will not struggle in our next season.
Yes, we are human, and it is unconventional to relax and watch things unfold. However, if we understand the specific season we are in, we can use our time and resources effectively to influence our next season.
Just like in nature, there is a time to prepare the ground, a time to sow seeds, and a time to nurture them. It is crucial to recognize that the gestation period is not the appropriate time to harvest the seeds. Those who focus on earning when they should be learning might lose their earnings at the end.
If you refuse to give your best this season, it will make the next season difficult. Therefore, it is wise to buy your tomorrow today so that tomorrow can be cheap and easier for you. Tomorrow will be too expensive if you spend your tomorrow’s money today.
