Don’t lose all your true friends

Don’t grow alone.

When you finally cross the bridge, don’t lose all your true friends. Don’t abandon your allies because your status has changed.

Do your best to keep them. Not just because you might need them tomorrow but because growing together creates a healthy environment you will need to keep growing.

It is easier to go together if we are growing together.

Raising others is not all about money or material things. At times, giving people timely information is what they need to cross to another better phase of their lives. Some just need somebody to listen to them and assure them it will work out, etc.

Scriptural references:

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 – “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
Proverbs 17:17 – “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.”
James 2:15-16 – “Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?”
Proverbs 27:17 – “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
