Life is not discrete; it is continuous. Life is not a series of isolated events.

Who we are today is a result of what we did or did not do yesterday.

What we will become tomorrow will evolve from what we overcome today.

How prepared we are today is what will determine how much of what God prepared for us we will enjoy. The height you pray for in life requires a better version of you; therefore, embrace the pursuit of excellence, for it is the price of attaining that height you’ve been praying for.

Please do not leave tomorrow’s results to chance; be intentional about how you live today, play your part excellently today, and do not tolerate mediocrity. Remember, life is a collection of choices, so opt for righteous living today to secure a bright future.

Cultivate a culture of excellence now and remain steadfast in upholding it.

Refrain from being comfortable with mediocrity or shoddy output from you. Ensure that you are striving to be your best version at every task.

Scriptural references:

“Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.” (Proverbs 22:29)

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17)

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3)

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
