How far are you in becoming a better you in 2013?

Better101 days back year 2013 was unanimously agreed to be new, with 37 Thursdays to the end of 2013, this week’s edition of MATTER THAT MATTERS is asking if 2013 is still NEW? How about your new year resolutions? How about your goals and all you decided to achieve? How far are you in becoming a better you in 2013?

1. Start On It: Don’t let anything stop you from achieving all you see your self achieving at the beginning of the year. Nothing is impossible with God. Just start by doing what’s necessary, from those you marked possible/easy to those marked impossible/difficult. Think through those things you wish/plan to achieve this year again, assure yourself that these things can be done then think on how it can be done. Start starting!

2. Keep Trying: If you’ve been working on achieving those things and not encouraged about the result so far, don’t stop trying. Stop stopping. To stop trying because you are not happy with the outcome is like stopping your clock because you want to save time. If you are sure that’s the right path; go on but if you are sure its a wrong road; start paving another one. Just don’t stop!

3. Attempt The Impossible: Don’t wait till you are 70% sure it will work. Leave the camp of noise makers to news maker, to be in the news do new things that are godly and legal. By reaching for what appears to be the impossible, we often actually do the impossible. Even when we don’t quite make it, we inevitably wind up doing much better than we would have done. Take calculated risks or else you will be at risk.

Having a better 2013 or becoming a better version of you cannot happen by default. An intentional and deliberate step has to be taken in the right direction. Until you work, things will not workout to your desires. I pray things will work out to your favour in Jesus Christ name
