Now fully into the 2nd half of the year, 185 days of 365 days gone already, yeah, ‘how time flies’. Whatever your lot, here’s another opportunity to make 2014 a year to remember. Take advantage of the energy of the moment to achieve more, if you think you’ve been sidetracked, it’s time to realign yourself back to your life path and no matter what, stay strong, keep your head high and do good always.
Don’t wait for the energy of the end of the year, life is not like a Nollywood movie where the actor suffers hardship for close to 2 hours and enjoy at the last minute of the movie. Life is good, get it right, and keep getting better. Don’t resign when you can redesign, move on, get back on the horse.
1. Diagnose your life: Take some time off to check your life, do a thorough check-up, don’t just treat symptoms, be sure of what is working and what is not, generate action steps to be more productive this time. Question why you have been so successful in reaching some of your goals, but some goals are still far from reality? Take corrective measures. Above all, you need God’s help, remember, even if Paul plants, and Apollos waters, it is God that causes the growth. Don’t labor in vain, God’s favor will remove all pain. Check your relationship with God.
2. Be motivated: God knows you are still alive, everything you need is already here on Earth, you just need to assess it, don’t give up, no matter the situation, it’s not your permanent location. ‘For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.’ Your permanent direction is upward and forward. The cloud will clear, become very sunny and bright for you too. Don’t be discouraged, move on, enjoy the process, you need the story of your glory as well as you need the glory.
3. Stay focused: Focus on the little things that make life special. There are many little things that will yield much result, locate it and it will showcase you. Most times, what you need to increase your status quo by 80% is just 20% work. Focus on those little things, don’t be distracted by the bigger requirement, what can you do now to be better than this?
