This week’s edition of MATTER THAT MATTERS observe that not all past are easy to let go, some past are just too good to let go. I know it is hard, especially when the past look so much better than the present and the future looks frightening. Just see it this way;
1. Now is the Seed for Later: If you keep wasting resources on mourning the past, when will you start working on getting better? You have to take into consideration the fact that the present moment is all you have. The past you are now longing for was ignored by you when it was present to work with. Invest in your present to have a better harvest in the future.After all life is a journey not a destination.
2. Its a Change: Change is good. Change will help you make improvements in your life and also the lives of those around you. Embrace change. Change can be positive or negative. Either you want it or not, change will always happen, learn to always adjust to it. Don’t let fear hold you back, flow wisely with the change and you will always see open doors where you thought there were only walls.
3. Its your Call: Statistics show that many would have been better but the fear of what people will say has held them back. They are living their lives based on other people’s expectations. They ignore their God. They are busy with pleasing everybody, living up to other people’s standard that they lose control over their lives. You have one life, you must live it, own it. Don’t let other people’s opinions distract you from your path. Take the next necessary step.
