This week’s edition of MATTER THAT MATTERS affirms; rough patches in relationships can be smoothed. Relationship is a priceless tool for realizing and maximizing raw ambition, desire for comfort/security, the drive to make a difference in other people’s lives…We all are in one relationship or the other; parent-child, employee-employer, student-teacher et al. But not all are finding it easy to maintain a healthy relationship. To create an unshakable bond in any relationship you need;
1. Trust: It is the implied value and the real bond in relationship, protect it. When trust is broken at one time it can be rebuilt over a long time and through hard work. Trust is the value within ourselves, it is the character relating us. Trust is both the reason and result of love. Earning trust is the first step to building a lasting relationship.
2. Right Attitude: The way to high altitude is a good attitude. A bad attitude is like a flat tire, the more you force it to move the more the damage it causes, nobody goes far with it. Love without good attitude might break trust and a relationship without trust is like jumping into a swimming pool without water…it hurts.
3. Genuine Love: The capacity of love gives depth to human relationship. Love is a bridge, as a bridge connects one side of a river to the other side so is love a bridge of the hearts. When we love anyone from our heart we give every of our self instead of asking. We let go for their good.

It did not break because of fate. When you love without the right attitude, resentment brews, anger rises, feelings are hurt in a space of time. When relationship is fully characterized by genuine love, right attitude and trust, the people involved connect to an infinitely deeper level and nurture dormant talents, achieve unspoken aspirations and solve hidden problems.
