One thing to succeed!

As I prepare to speak in Osun State University this morning and later in First Baptist Church, Erin Osun, one question I might answer today is; ‘what is the one thing I need to do to succeed?’ I have come to the irresistible conclusion that there is no one thing to do to succeed, there are many things to do to succeed in life, there are many habits to cultivate, lot of principles to know and practice, a lot.

The good news is; you are wired for success, you know more than you don’t know. You have what it takes to be called success. You crossed many bridges to get here. You’ve faced many battles before now, yet, your spirit rose stoutly to those challenges and brought all the seemingly insurmountable situations to their knees. You are indeed great! But, we are not there yet, only the dead have arrived, as far as you are still alive, you can succeed than your present success. And if you think you are behind, rise to the challenge to make the world a better place for us all to live in and color will seep back into your black-and-white existence. To be more successful;

1. Be capable: Strive to be an expert in what defines you. Everyone is ordinary until he is trained, it is the training that makes a specialist. Be ready to learn, change, and grow. Accept the reality that learning takes forever. Take action to set aside, and spend time with people who challenge your thinking.

People are always ready to pay for expertise in areas that are not their strength. Make excellence your lifestyle and not just an event.

2. Be faithful: Lies may sell first and fast, but faithfulness sells forever. Stop hawking lies and misinformation as purchasable articles of trade in the public stalls of the world market. Don’t just go into business for survival, be a solution provider, meet needs, exchange value for money. Faithfulness is what birth fruitfulness.

3. Be Spiritual: God wants to make you before you make it. God is your loving father, don’t be far from home, always commune with God, don’t exchange your relationship with God for anything.
