Go get it!

Go get it! About 205 days ago, you placed a demand on 2014, you set some goals with a strong determination and motivation to make 2014 a better year for you, you prayed about it, and even told friends about it. How close are you to achieving all your goals in 2014?

The journey to obtaining a goal has its peak and valley. Some days you feel you can take on the world, other days you want to crawl under the covers. As an individual, it is easy to slack off and lose motivation, we are quick to let ourselves off the hook, procrastinate, and find justifications for giving up on our goals, but, it is dangerous giving up now. You will get there if you don’t stop moving in the right direction. Be active;

1. Do regular checkup: Don’t leave things to happen by chance, monitor your progress. As you go throughout your day, repeatedly ask yourself, ‘am I currently making the best possible use of my time?’ This one simple question can be an excellent boost to your productivity. If you keep checking yourself per day, your week will be productive. Do things that will help you accomplish your dream daily.

2. Fill the gaps: If you know better you will perform better, it is what you know you will practice/do, stop whiling away the time, make use of your device to impact yourself. Listen to educational audiobooks, seminars, teachings, preachings, etc while you’re cooking, going to work, cleaning the house. Audio learning has the power to add hours to your day. Enough of listening to ‘lyricsless’ music.

3. Concentrate on productive activities: if you want to see trees be close to the forest, invest in result-oriented activities. Pareto’s law states that 80% of the outputs result from 20% of the inputs, find the 20% that is creating the 80% of your desired outcomes and focus solely on those activities.
