One good thing we must accept at this stage of our life is; life continues! I don’t mean to say “Que cera cera” because I am Hon. Psalm and not Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, moreover, this is 2012, far from 1956. This week’s edition of MATTER THAT MATTERS wish to establish that even if you stop, life goes on, so, why should you abort the journey when you’ve not gotten to your final destination? What is your experience so far this year?
1. Negative? Do you have past failures, fears, inadequacies and you think it is over for this year? No! It is not over, the darker it seems, the more valuable the light becomes. Acknowledge your now, decide to move forward, keep moving, things will work out shortly. Don’t allow the liabilities of your past ruin your future.
2. Positive? Your today is your passport to your tomorrow. Some loose their tomorrow today, they use their today’s resources to acquire liability that suck tomorrow’s asset. Be wise and stop investing in toys. Invest in today by sowing seeds whose harvest can sustain you tomorrow.
3. Hovering? If you think there are no changes for the past 222 days, you might be right but the truth is the future is where you will spend the rest of your days so don’t be discouraged by today’s result. Your future is worth more, you will succeed if that is what you want. Pray, plan, and proceed.
Don’t be a captive of past failures, defeats, and disappointment. Open up to the fresh opportunities, challenges and responsibilities. You will not labour in vain in Jesus Christ name.
