Stop the Stop

The fact that 2013 will wind-up in about 26 days might be a reason to think this year is gone but it is not over yet, I believe in the God that created the world in 6 days, HE is able. Don’t waste the remaining days of this year complaining of what you could not achieve in the past 339 days.

The truth is; you are a champion, you’ve won many battles to be here, you’ve archived a lot. Maybe not necessarily in terms of more money, power, title, but in terms of personal growth; Everyday, you fight the never ending battle against giving up, giving in, and losing out and here you are stronger and better. Many are dead, some are in psychiatric hospital, some had been amputated, many lost their ability and so on. If nobody celebrates you, take some time out to smell the roses and appreciate God. If there’s life?

Keep hope alive, more can still be achieved this year if you;

1. Stop the Stop: The more you stop and think about quitting, the longer it will take to get to your desired result. You’ve gone so far from where you’ve started, don’t let your brain take over and tell you it’s too late to achieve more this year.

Stop thinking of stopping now. Be rational rather than being emotionally driven, take control, be in control of yourself, your environment or circumstances, you’ve been given dominion over them. Don’t allow circumstances to force you to stop working hard.

2. Give it your Best: That energy you had in you in January should not reduce now because we are in December. Everyday you are beginning anew and what is required to be the best today is to beat the best, so take a deep breath, another step forward, and don’t even think about relenting

Be acquainted with audacious style of doing things and don’t be deceived to give less than you can give at any point. Don’t waste your natural ability and don’t hide your skills. Decide to be better at what you do. And be open to modify your style.

3. Value People: Don’t under rate the power of the people around you. As an individual you have much power but as a group your power is unlimited. ‘WE’ are better than ‘I’.

Believe with confidence and trust that the vast majority of people whom you meet, befriend or do business with are not in your life by accident but divinely orchestrated.

Relationships are vital resources, you can increase your personal effectiveness by rejecting stereotypes, divisive and demeaning policies that ignore people whose social status are below yours. Build bridges of tolerance and understanding. Collaborative effort will reduce your stress and multiply your success. If you partner with others who possess the skills and resources complementary to and needed for your success, you will achieve more.

God will keep protecting you and you will not be a victim of any form of accident in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
