Is it true that you made some mistakes and you think it will hold you down forever or that it is impossible to bounce back?
Could it be true that because you missed an opportunity you stopped pursing, thinking you will never meet such opportunity again?
Are you really afraid of what your colleagues will say about you when they get to know you didn’t do well academically while in school?
Is it for real that you refuse to reciprocate his love because of the way the last relationship ended?
Are you really judging your own marriage with the experience of your friends and colleagues?
Or what is it that has kept you low, down and incapacitated? People, situations, jobs, marriages, or friendships?
If what happened in the past is what is holding you down, then it could mean that you are leaning on the past. No one goes forward leaning on the past.
Face it now and you will win!
If what happened to someone you know or what you heard in a story is the reason for your fear of failure, then you did not learn from others’ experience, rather, you lean on it.
Take back the total control of your life. You will achieve more success if you choose to learn and not lean on your archive of experiences.
Yes, like every other person, you might have experienced disappointments, anxiety, insecurity, betrayals, depression, failures, embarrassments, stress, hardship, etc but none of these should stop you from reaching your goal in life. If you face it you will win it. Win the battle by;
1. Acknowledging the pit: ignoring the problem will only make it worse. Accepting that there’s an issue is not weakness.
2 Confronting it: escapism is not a permanent solution to most problems. The longer the problem stays the more costly it becomes. Now that you know the problem(s), solve it now. You cannot win a battle you did not fight.
3. Ask for help: there is someone who is always ready to help you; God!
Your greatness is my fulfilment.
