Exploit All Your Resources

The reason many have not gotten what they want is because they’ve not exploited all they have.

You are not down to nothing, you have something that can make you somebody. The truth is, you’ve not exploited all the resources you have, put in more effort.

You have something the world needs, something they ought to have. Something they can get from you in exchange of their money.

Do you remember Stevie Wonder (Stevland Hardaway Judkins)? He couldn’t see, so he exploited his sense of hearing into a passion for music, and now he has 25 Grammy Awards and about 40 other awards to show for it including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Take more time to discover your unused or underused resources: opportunities, connections, influence, money, talents, skills, ability and personality. Just like stretching a rubber band, you have to stretch yourself a bit.

1. Expand Your Capacity:  Improve your ability to achieve results through cooperation with other people and understanding  how your choices impact your behaviors and image.

Increase self-confidence through becoming more accountable for your thoughts, actions and words, and build your self-image through self-awareness of your strengths by identifying areas needing improvement and go all out to improve those areas.

Understand your core values and how they drive your behaviors and choices. Don’t stop expanding your capacity, you will not regret it.

2. Be Your Manager: You have to manage yourself for success and learn to manage yourself through effective goal setting and time management, then learn to manage others.

Identify self-defeating feelings that gets in the way of personal growth and success and consciously deal with it, create awareness about life-enhancing changes that you’d like to make and start working on it immediately.

3. Give Again: Don’t be selfish, leave the success-fools and cleave to the successful ones whose success  creates a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more. Don’t amass riches without impact, scatter to gather.

What can you give to make the world better? What can you do better? What do you know better? Start giving it now, the greater your blessings, the greater your obligation to share your good fortune. Use your special talents to serve the common good. Let your actions be motivated by a commitment to charity and justice. Be compassionate, kind and considerate.

May the Lord prepare you for all HE has prepare for you in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
